Liliana Morawietz is an assistant researcher at the Center for Advanced Research in Education at the University of Chile and a part-time lecturer in the Department of Anthropology at Alberto Hurtado University. She has performed research on school effectiveness, school improvement, and educational policy; indigenous and intercultural bilingual education issues; and sociocultural issues that help explain students’ performance on standardized evaluations. Ms. Morawietz holds a master’s degree in oral history from Columbia University.
