Center for Excellence and Innovation in Education Policies (CEIPE-FGV)
is a think-and-do-thank housed in one of the best higher education institution of Brazil, Getulio Vargas Foundation. Ceipe-FGV has the mission to leverage equity, innovation and quality across Brazil's public education systems by supporting the Secretariats of Education and the Ministry in the design and implementation of evidence-based policies, producing and disseminating knowledge to inform policy and practice, and forming leaders to exert effective leadership on their systems.

Chile

Centro de Investigación Avanzada en Educación (CIAE) 

is a joint initiative of three major universities in the country: University of Chile, University of Concepción and Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso.  CIAE’s mission is to conduct high-level scientific research in education, with the purpose of contributing, from an academic base, to improving the educational opportunities of children and youths of Chile, while also serving as a space for training and development of new researchers. 

China

National Institute of Education Sciences (NIES)

is the research arm of the Ministry of Education and the only national level education research institution in China.  NIES contributes to the development of education in China by advising the policymaking process, advancing theoretical innovation, and guiding local practices.  The institute has developed partnerships in education with five areas located in the north, east, west, south and the middle part of China, to which NIES provides advisory and informative assistance for education reform and innovation.

Colombia

Universidad Externado de Colombia, Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación

is a teaching and research higher education center that offers graduate programs to Colombian and international teachers. Currently the Education Faculty offers two Master’s Programs including one on general education, and another one on evaluation and quality assurance in education. The faculty’s main mission is to transform individuals through education by providing competencies so that they can respond to the current changing society. These strategies focus on pedagogy, didactics, human development, and assessment.

India

The Piramal Foundation

runs several Leadership Development programs for Principals, Teachers, District Administrators and Youth. The Principal Leadership Development Program (PLDP) is a 4 year leadership development program to provide holistic training and development to school principals to improve learning quality in their schools to become better leaders and coaches for children’s academic and 21st century learning. The Teacher Leadership Development Program is a 4 year leadership development program to provide in-service Professional Development to teachers to become better Instructional Leaders and achieve their children’s academic and 21st century learning.

The District Transformation Program a 4 year leadership development program to provide leadership course to District Administrators to lead improvement in the Systemic Processes that can impact children’s academic and 21st century learning. The Gandhi / Piramal Fellowship is a 2 year fellowship offered to fresh college graduates who work with the rural principals, teachers and administrators and help them turnaround failing schools and in turn recognize and develop their leadership skills.

The Piramal School of Leadership (PSL) is established with the intent of taking the Piramal Foundation's initiative a step further. PSL collaborates with all sectors of society around world including Governments, academics and corporates to sensitize educational leadership across India.

Mexico

Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE)

is a leading center of research and higher education specializing in social sciences. The main objective of CIDE is to help develop Mexico through the generation of rigorous and relevant knowledge and training of a new generation of leaders able to perform with creativity and responsibility in an open and competitive world.

Singapore

National Institute of Education (NIE)

is an institute of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU).  NIE provides all levels of teacher education, from initial teacher education programs to professional development programs for in-service teachers and executive leadership programs for Principals, Departmental Heads and other school leaders. NIE also administers postgraduate programs that lead to the award of higher degrees in Arts, Education, Physical Education and Science. In addition, NIE also offers part-time programs that make it possible for current primary level teachers the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Education degree.
